Join Black Women For Self ™ for an empowering and insightful discussion on the impact of Black hair on mindset and self-image in New Orleans, LA, USA. We will explore the historical, cultural, and societal factors shaping Black women’s relationship with their hair.

The Sister Circle Series is a sequence of intimate, in-person conversations. These meetups promote radical self-care by allowing Black women a safe space to vent, learn, share, release, grow, etc. while dissecting various topics. The first Sister Circle conversation will explore the heavy weight of coping with grief during the holidays. It will be led by Licensed Clinical Social Worker/ Therapist Vanice Zenon and Model and Influencer Kortlynn Jenae - cocktails provided by Justini’s Nola.

The BWFS introductory event will bring like-minded women together for the kick-off of the Black Women For Self revolution. This event will allow those who attend to mingle with other outstanding Black women, share their thoughts, and pledge to begin a transformative self-care journey all while sipping tasty drinks, noshing on bites, and looking fabulous.
